  1. To create the base of the future cake, the first thing to start with is to grind the eggs with sugar until the crystals are completely dissolved.
  2. Add condensed milk and sour cream to the egg-sugar mixture. Instead of sour cream, you can add any fermented milk products.
  3. Mix flour with baking powder. This must be done while the products are still dry. Otherwise, the process of saturating the dough with oxygen will proceed unevenly, which will negatively affect the taste of the finished baked goods.
  4. Add the resulting baking powder through a sieve into the main batch.
  5. Grease the pan in which the cakes will be baked and pour the dough into them. You can cook the entire volume at once, and then cut the finished base into pieces, or bake two cakes in stages. Heat treatment parameters: 180 degrees and 30 minutes.
  6. Grease the completely cooled cake with cream and sprinkle with nut crumbs. If desired, you can use whole kernels. However, confectioners still recommend grinding them first.
  7. Cover the filling with a second layer of sponge cake and coat the cake on all sides with sweet sour cream.
  8. Make shavings from 1/3 of the chocolate and cover the sides of the product with it. Refrigerate the cake for soaking.
  9. Make a chocolate ornament. To do this, melt the remaining chocolate in a water bath. Place the pre-prepared stencil design in a transparent file. Pour the hot chocolate into a bag with a thinly cut corner and trace the design.
  10. Next, place the workpiece in the refrigerator to harden, and then remove it from the file and place it in the desired place on the cake. At the same stage, you can make inscriptions on the product.

Cooking method:

  1. Beat the whites of 4 eggs with half the amount of powdered sugar to strong peaks.
  2. Mix marzipan with the remaining sugar, yolks and 2 eggs. Beat everything with a mixer until fluffy. This takes approximately 6 to 7 minutes.
  3. Melt chocolate and butter in the microwave.
  4. Gradually add flour, cocoa, liquid chocolate, water (if the dough is too thick) and whipped egg whites. The mixing process must be done manually using a spoon or spatula.
  5. Bake the sponge cake in a 16 cm pan at 160 degrees until the toothpick is dry.
  6. Cut the resulting cooled cake base into 3 layers and spread each of them with jam and ganache.
