To prevent the “pages” of my voluminous appliqué from sticking together, I taped all the inner folds with thin strips of tape . After such manipulation, the umbrellas, balls and clouds looked great!

I photographed the children in groups wearing hoops , so that later it would be easier to fit them into the silhouette of the basket. My baskets are wicker :-).
