12 travel parties at home: what to wear, cook, listen to

Fiesta style: Spain

Spain is a very passionate country where the color gray is not held in high esteem: walk like that, relax like that! Temperamental Spaniards are very homely people who love family holidays. But such a holiday for them is not only a feast, but also a masquerade with dancing.

Men will need one of the traditional elements of the Spanish costume: a colorful vest, a wide belt, and a three-cornered hat. For women - a lace cape covering the neck, head and chest, a wide skirt or at least a fan. Traditional Spanish music is very expressive. Ideally, it is performed live by a guitarist, and guests sing songs and dance. Don't forget to learn flamenco! It is not necessary to have all the dishes of Spanish cuisine on the table; one or two are enough. Making paella, Madrid ragu or potato tortilla is not that difficult, as long as you have fresh ingredients and follow the recipe. It is advisable to pour wine from a porron.

Anniversary in the style of “A Journey of a Lifetime”

Anniversary

- This is an important day in the life of any person.
Start preparing by inviting guests. Send invitation cards and prepare nameplates. Such colorful signs can be placed on tables so that all guests are seated without fuss. Think about the seating arrangement so that everyone feels very pleasant and comfortable. In addition, organize a separate table for kids with various useful things and goodies so that they don’t get bored and the holiday
turns out to be a success.

An anniversary toastmaster can help you organize and conduct your

who will write the original script and also make sure that none of the guests gets bored.

As a rule, the anniversary program in the “Journey of a Lifetime” style is divided into several main ceremonial parts. The first stage of the holiday can be called “The life of the hero of the day up to one year”, where the presenter will tell funny stories from the maternity hospital, and will also hold entertaining competitions on the theme of the birth of the hero of the occasion. The second stage “Childhood of the hero of the day from one to 8 years old”, where childhood stories, funny incidents and photographs of that time and outdoor games will be relevant. The third stage may be called “Young years from 15 to 23 years old,” during which photos - collages with friends and family are presented. If it 's a man's anniversary

You can tell him about his army life and tell funny stories, as well as play funny games. The fifth stage is “Life maturity from 24 to 60 years”, where the hero of the day can talk about his life experience, boast of awards and successes. All the action is accompanied by the favorite songs of the hero of the occasion and competitions. And the final stage, which, let’s say, can be called “Wisdom, from 60 to the present day.” It is worth noting that such an anniversary program will be pleasant for both men and women.

It is best to alternate dance blocks with fun competitions and games, both intellectual and active, in which everyone present will be able to take part along with the hero of the occasion. Birthday

- This is a holiday where both adults and children gather, so competitions should be interesting to everyone. After all, the grandchildren of the hero of the day will be present at the anniversaries, who should also not be bored.

Do not forget about wishes and congratulations to the hero of the occasion, which should be solemn and original. In this case, you can involve your grandchildren. Let them sing songs or read poems in honor of their grandparents - you must agree, this is a pleasant surprise. If it 's a woman's anniversary

, do not forget about the abundance of flowers and balls.

Features of the program

The program includes

Bollywood: India

The Indian “star factory” produces hundreds of films a year. Colorful outfits, incredible songs, dances and a dramatic plot that certainly ends with a “happy ending”. Before decorating your room in Indian style, watch the movie “Zita and Gita” - you can easily find inspiration for your party there. The decor will need bright colors. On the walls, hang images of animals adored in this country - cows, elephants, add Indian landscapes and inscriptions in Hindi.

Not every girl has a sari in her wardrobe, but putting a dot on her forehead and choosing bright jewelry is possible. Men can “come” to a party in a regular fabric suit. The Indian party is perfect for master classes or for learning Indian dance moves. Important detail: alcoholic drinks are prohibited at this party. The main dish on the table will obviously be rice, accompanied by sauces, vegetables and flatbreads. Indian dishes are traditionally eaten with hands.

Three-color extravaganza: Italy

Sea, sun, temperament and family dinners - this is what Italy is associated with. To throw a party in Italian style, all you need is inflatable balls of three colors (white, green, red), floating under the ceiling and a festive table with delicious dishes. And if you hang photographs from Italian travels around the room, put Italian souvenirs and flags on the shelves - an authentic atmosphere of the Iberian Peninsula is guaranteed.

Italians do not have a single national costume, and this is because each region has its own. But in all regions, both men and women wear scarves around their necks. For musical accompaniment, music from the films “The Godfather”, “The Taming of the Shrew”, “Roman Holiday” or songs by Adriano Celentano and the band Ricchi E Poveri are ideal. Pizza, Caesar or Caprese salad, and olives are required on the table. Drinks include dry white or red wine.

Menu, serving

The choice of menu for a tropic party is obvious - light salads, seafood, an abundance of fruits, berries and fresh vegetables, ice cream and ice, fluffy desserts in bowls. When watermelons and melons are in season, they will decorate any table, beautifully served in pieces in vases or directly in the rind.

Avoid heavy food, it is not conducive to active rest. BBQ/shish kebab will fit perfectly, but it’s better to avoid fried meat/fish.

The most suitable drink, of course, is colorful cocktails - include at least several types in the menu (including non-alcoholic milk ones). Young wine and other low-alcohol drinks are appropriate. If there is beer, put all kinds of snacks in bowls - chips, popcorn, nuts, dried fish, etc.

Tableware ideas for a tropical themed party:

  • colorful disposable tableware, bright tablecloth. Raffia, paper seaweed, flowers, fruits are suitable for decorating chairs and tablecloth skirts;
  • It’s better to serve it buffet style, so that guests don’t want to sit at the table for a long time;
  • use mini-toppers, paper figures for cocktail tubes, umbrellas, buds made from thin slices (MK is available online, it’s very simple!);

  • halves of an orange/grapefruit without pulp - “bowls” for cooling jelly and portioned desserts. And the pulp will go into freshly prepared lemonades and juices. Cocktails in coconuts and pineapples look atmospheric;
  • Colored sprinkles, icing, mastic, and melting chocolate can easily be used to decorate tropical-style desserts.

Hot Blend: Mexico

Mexico is a cosmopolitan country that has retained its special flavor. Songs Cucaracha, La Bamba, Bésame mucho will put you in the right mood: you want to dance, sing and kiss (during the quarantine period - only with close family members, remember?). To organize a Mexican party you will need cacti, regular green balls, a sombrero, tequila, pom-poms, and paper lanterns.

The dress code for such an event is sombrero and poncho. This outfit may seem banal, but it will be 100% in the spirit of the holiday. From food: stew, beans, tomatoes, fiery burrito and, of course, tequila.

Das ist fantastic: Germany

The tastes of Germany are beer, sausages, sauerkraut. Quite a pleasant combination that makes it easy to organize an original home party. It is worth removing all “extra” decorative elements such as figurines - the Germans love a laconic interior. To give the room the desired style, use red, black and yellow colors. For example, ribbons of these colors can be hung above door openings. A plaid shirt is enough for a party. The best way to tell that you are having a German party is German beer and a variety of sausages with sauces.

I would like to share my holiday scenario, invented on the basis of materials from “Solnyshka”. This is the sixth birthday of my son Alexander. The script is suitable with minor adjustments for ages 4-7 years. It is desirable, of course, that the children be close in age, and that the very young ones are under the control of their mothers and do not distract the others too much. We had a mixed group of 4-6 years old and mostly girls, the boys were small. There were 8 children in total. Everyone knew in advance that the birthday would be a nautical one, so everyone was asked to come in “nautical” clothes. But, of course, no one except my son had any idea what awaited them. The point, in fact, is that my child is overly impressionable and has great difficulty enduring noisy, crowded companies. Therefore, knowing that the child would not be able to withstand the holiday itself emotionally, although he was looking forward to it with all his heart, I tried to shift the emphasis, and instead of a bunch of surprises on one day, we had the long joy of waiting for the birthday with joint preparation and decoration of the house. For more than a week, he and I drew something together, cut it out, hung it up, etc. Both me and the child had a lot of fun. The surprise effect, of course, disappears, but there is a long anticipation of the holiday.

The main idea of the holiday is a journey through magical islands. To do this, we decorated each room in a special way, preparing colorful signs with the names of the islands (my son really likes to read all sorts of inscriptions): Flower Island Island of Rainbow Balls Island of Ghosts Island of Lost and Found Island of Fun Island of Palm Island

And most importantly, we built a ship in which we could travel. It normally accommodated 5-7 people. Like this:

In general, it would be possible to do without a ship and use an imaginary one, but it would be much more effective. We built it from a large box and noodles - such soft poles for swimming in the pool, I don’t even know what they are called. We made an anchor with a chain, a steering wheel, a pipe, flags on the mast from cardboard, everything as it should be. The captain “puts” the box on his shoulders, hands through the windows to turn the wheel, the rest hold the ship by the sides, and that’s how everything moves. It was a little difficult on the turns, but it was good. There was only one captain - the birthday boy, but everyone took turns at the helmsman. The captain went through an accelerated special course with the help of his mother and the film about Captain Vrungel, so commands like “Hand over the anchor!” Don't panic! gave confidently.

We had one room as a wardroom, where we have a collection of nautical things, ships, etc. We added garlands of nautical flags there, which we made ourselves. It turned out exactly what we needed. That's where it all started...

The actual script.

Initially, 12 people were invited, but 8 came, and that was enough for me. Although everyone was asked not to be late, the arrival of the guests was still delayed. We assumed this, so until everyone had gathered, the children put together sea pictures, cut into pieces (like a puzzle) and colored them. Finally everyone gathered.

The children were seated on the sofa and announced that today we have a birthday boy, and he invites everyone to a sea birthday. First, the birthday boy was congratulated, given gifts, and then he invited the guests to eat the cake, but not just like that, but to sail to him on a ship. Here the children were shown the ship, which had previously been hidden in a closed room. Everyone was delighted. But it was impossible to board the ship right away, because... first you had to learn to be a sailor. We talked a little about what types of ships there are, what parts they have, what positions they have. Then the positions were distributed: the birthday boy was a captain (he received a captain’s cap), and the rest were sailors, mates, cabin boys, cooks, etc. After that there was a sailor dance “Apple” (I found the melody on the Internet), I showed the movements, and everyone repeated after me. Marine and Russian folk movements: scrubbing the deck, turning the wheel, looking through binoculars, “climbing” a rope, pulling nets, etc. After that, everyone was recognized as real sailors and were ready to set off.

And here we are sailing! The sailors were equipped with binoculars, a compass, flashlights, in general, so that everyone would be at work. And then a bottle was seen floating in the middle of the sea. You need to catch her, because bottles often contain notes, for example, from shipwrecked people! They took out the note, and there was actually a letter:

Dear travelers! Evil pirates stole your cake and hid it on Treasure Island. The map of the island is guarded by a pirate parrot. He will give the map to whoever brings 11 gold coins scattered around the islands.

What do we do?
You'll have to go on a difficult and dangerous journey in search of gold coins! And we set off to the islands. Then we were faced with various competitions and tasks, which always resulted in a coin. Each coin had a letter glued on it, and eventually the letters were supposed to form a word. We had the word “travel”, so 11 coins, but you can easily reduce their number by choosing a shorter word, it all depends on the composition and age of the company.

The first was Flower Island

.
It was a children's room. There I collected all the flowers from the house and hung Hawaiian flower garlands - it turned out very colorful. Garlands and hairpins with flowers were then worn by everyone, including mothers. Everyone was beautiful. Although there were more girls, the boys also enjoyed wearing flower beads. There, among the flowers, 1 coin was found. To celebrate, everyone danced cheerful tropical dances (like “Chunga-Changa”). For dancing, we also had these beautiful multi-colored things in stock: These are crepe ribbons glued to a stick.
These were our fire torches. They are easy to make and turn out very elegant. While the dancing was going on, I quickly prepared the next island in another room. The idea was to eat there and look for something edible. So, I “planted” this edible. These were mushrooms, shells, cucumbers, tomatoes and fish. It was impossible to post it right away, because the children immediately notice it and rush to collect it without waiting for an invitation.

Palm Island

- this is the main area, a large room and an entrance hall.
We stretched threads under the ceiling and hung ribbons of crepe paper on them, we got good waves, and we also hung large fish from the ceiling. These were balloons to which I glued tails, eyes, mouth, fins. The idea and pattern were taken from the script Meeting with the Old Pirate. The Pisces turned out great, all colorful and large.
A wonderful decoration, in addition, they also had a secret, but more on that later. There was also a cool banana palm tree on the island. I bought it, but you can easily make it yourself.

And so the whole company, after dancing, loads onto the ship and sets off again. On the way, they are caught by a severe storm, a thunderstorm (to the appropriate music), the ship rocks, sharks swim (drawn fish), but everyone fearlessly gets to the palm island. We land carefully, in case there are snakes or wild animals... But, fortunately, the island is uninhabited. How hungry everyone was after the difficult journey! We should look for some food. What can you eat on the island? Mushrooms! You need to collect at least ten. Everything is collected in my basket - I count. Then they collected vegetables and shells. In each category, a coin was found and placed in a special chest. (The shells are real, the mushrooms are made of plasticine, the cucumbers and tomatoes are plastic toys.)

After that, they “found” a banana tree, and they had to jump up and pick the banana. The bananas were painted and held on with crepe ribbons, so they came off easily, but it was difficult to calculate the height, because... the children were different. One of the bananas also contained a coin.

After that we went fishing. Our apartment has stairs, so we fished from the top platform, and the fish were scattered on the steps. But in principle, as I planned to do before, you can simply catch fish from the sofa, and fish on the floor. I could draw fish, but we have a lot of different toy fish at home. I glued paper clips to them, and magnets to the fishing rods (ordinary sticks with threads), and the fishing turned out great!

Well, we've collected enough food, we can have a snack. We found a flower meadow (a coffee table covered with flowers and leaves) and laid out all the collected products on it: mushrooms, bananas, fish, shells. Then the most interesting thing happened - I took everything into the kitchen one by one and a minute later brought back the real thing: bananas, mushrooms (eggs with tomato caps - fly agaric mushrooms), fish crackers (adored by all children), shells (boiled pasta shells, I had such special large shells stuffed with cheese), vegetables. The highlight of the program were the boats - an egg with a sail made of cheese and peppers with sails made of sausage.

Everything was beautiful and colorful. It was a lot of fuss, but it was worth it! I am writing about everything in such detail because the children really liked it. I somehow think that children are quite indifferent to food. But here, firstly, they ate everything, and secondly, they liked the game itself: the transformation into the present, the plates that I cut out in the shape of shells, even the juice that they drank was not just juice - but water from a magical spring, which turns into juice when drunk through a straw. In general, there are many details here that should not be neglected.

After washing our hands in the Waterman's Cave, we moved on. Next up was Rainbow Balloon Island.

- a nice idea, although I didn’t have to use it. It was a balcony from which it was planned to blow large soap bubbles; there are special nozzles. But it started to rain, and we had to exclude this island.

Next on the course was Ghost Island

. They created twilight in the room, covered the children with multi-colored scarves and allowed them to jump on the bed. This was cool in itself, because they were happy to push and fall. But the point was that once on this island, everyone becomes ghosts, and you can get out of there if you solve all the riddles. (I also took riddles at Solnyshka). In the end, all the riddles were successfully guessed, and we moved on.

The next island was Lost and Found Island

. First we had to find 10 ships, which is easy in our house, so we found another coin. Then there was the game “Pig in a Bag” - you had to guess objects in a bag by touch (characteristic toys, a cube, a spoon, a clothespin, a ball, etc. + a coin). Then - cutting off gifts: two adults hold a rope to which bags are tied, children take turns, blindfolded, cutting off a gift for themselves. Because We had small children, so we simply caught the gifts with our hands, and I already cut them off. One of the gifts contained a coin.

Next was the Island of Fun

. Various competitive competitions were planned there, but we played just a little - just to get the rest of the coins, because... some of the children were already a little tired.

And then the fun began. All the coins have been collected, the letters make up the word “journey”, now you can go to the parrot, and not just walk, but run, since we have been looking for everything for so long and the pirates have probably already started to eat our cake! This brought additional excitement, and then everything happened quickly and fun. Here is a parrot sitting on a chest, everyone unanimously said to him: “Journey” and received the chest. But that is not all! The chest is closed, and now you need to look for the key. The key was hidden in the Merman's Cave (in the bathroom), there we glued a lot of multi-colored starfish (cut out of colored paper), under one of which the key was hidden.

The key was found instantly. And here it is, a joyful moment! The chest is open, and someone is already snatching the map of Treasure Island! Hooray! But what is it? This is not a map at all, but a new letter from evil pirates:

Ha ha ha! Your map was eaten by flying fish, and now you will never find our island!

What a misfortune!
We tried so hard, searched so hard, and now we were left without a cake! What do we do? But the children already guessed it themselves - we need to look for flying fish! This is where the pre-cooked fish balls came into play. Each of them contained a piece of a map, and you had to catch the fish, and then “rip open their belly” and get out the pieces of the map. I was afraid that the children would be afraid of the popping balloons, but it was a lot of fun. Everyone got a fish. The balloons burst, all the colorful stickers from them flew off in all directions, so it turned out to be a real fireworks display (you could also sprinkle confetti there). In the end, all the pieces were found, the map was assembled and glued together. The map was a combat one, flooded, scorched, as it should be. Here it is: Then we were already looking for the island. He was in the kitchen. We found a waterfall (sink), then a fire cave (oven), and on an ice rock (on the refrigerator) was our cake! And there was also a special cake, about our trip: You can use your favorite recipe as the base of the cake. Islands are pieces of sponge cake, sprinkled with sour cream and covered with chocolate glaze. The green “sea grass” along the sides and the blue sea are coconut shavings (shavings are poured into a small bag and a little food coloring is added). Fish are crackers. The ship is cut out of biscuit. Masts and cannons are cookie sticks. Sails are waffles. Of course, everyone liked the cake; the process of getting it out from under the ceiling was worth it. I once thought that everyone would want to eat the boat, but, as it turned out, everyone wanted to eat more fish (those same crackers), and the ship was the last thing that was eaten. Everyone probably felt sorry for him.

This is how our fun journey ended. To my horror, after all this fuss they simply forgot that they were supposed to put candles on the cake! That's how it got started. But in general, no one noticed this anymore.

Another 5 kopecks.

The event turned out to be powerful. But it was worth it. The children were very impressed and told everyone about the holiday. My child could only talk about this for a month! The most climax moment was at the end, as planned. All the coins have already been collected, and it seems that’s all, but it turns out - no, you still need to find a parrot, and then another key, and then also fish, then a map and then still look for a cake. Everyone was already looking for the cake in ecstasy. Overall, it was really great!

Carrying out all this was not easy. Even though so much has been written, the competitions themselves do not take much time and should not be tedious. The biggest problem is that children are difficult to organize - they all scatter in different directions and you need to be on guard all the time so as not to lose control. In addition, if the children were not trained in kindergarten (and we had exactly that), they are not used to obeying, and the new home has a lot of attraction for them. And if one leaves, then the rest follow him. Watching everything on the video later, it was noticeable that all the children were shouting their own things, and I was trying to out-shout everyone, answer everyone, resolve controversial issues, not forget that my child was still the birthday boy and at the same time not upset the others. And with all this, continue to follow the general line. So it’s not surprising that my voice broke.

I planned everything for a very long time and thought through how it would happen. This is important because during the holiday there is no time to finish anything. Literally everything should be at hand. He took it and gave it immediately. Even a small delay is significant: we were unwinding the fishing rods, and the children were already rushing to grab the fish with their hands, and even take them from each other. I had to “build” them, encourage them to be patient, etc. This takes the most effort and a lot of time. In such a situation, of course, you need a good assistant, because... The leader should deal only with children so as not to let them get out of control, otherwise they will immediately run away. And you need another person on hand to bring it, serve it, turn on the music, and, separately, take photographs. But overall, everything turned out great. I really enjoyed it too, despite the hassle. So, I advise everyone. Then only pleasant things remain in memory.

I put a lot of spiritual strength into this birthday, and I will be pleased if other mothers can take advantage of this to please their children. Good luck everyone!

Minimal party: Japan

The Land of the Rising Sun is an example of how something amazing can be created with little expense, where ancient traditions are combined with Western trends. The Japanese know how to see beauty in small things.

When decorating a room, keep in mind that the interior should be made in a minimalist style. The walls can be decorated with fans and images of dragons. Take all the chairs out of the room, you won’t need them, the guests will sit on the floor like real geishas and samurai. A Japanese party is unthinkable without rolls, sushi, teriyaki sauce and karaoke.

O-la-la: France

Elegant, mysterious, beautiful, sophisticated, glamorous France can become closer for one evening. What is needed for this? Figurines of the Eiffel Tower, reproductions of famous paintings from the Louvre, cheese, wine, lavender and bunches of grapes. For such a party, wear that same black sheath dress, if you are a man - a snow-white shirt with an open collar. Add romance: Edith Piaf, Joe Dassin, ZAZ, Alize. Guests can be pampered with onion soup, French meat, meringues or croissants. And don't forget a bottle of wine and a plate of cheese.

Chief Power: Hawaii

Hospitality, friendliness, flower beads - these are what come to mind when it comes to Hawaii. And also - heavenly beaches and gentle sun. You can recreate this atmosphere by choosing small umbrellas, tall exotic plants, colorful shirts and colorful drinks. Pay special attention to the table decor: “sew” a skirt in the style of hula dancers for it. Craft paper or New Year's tree "rain" will do. It would be good if there were fruits and a variety of cocktails with bright umbrellas on the table. Plan activities ahead of time, such as the traditional Hawaiian game of Limbo, where you can use a rope or ribbon instead of a plank.

Decor

This is one of the few infinitely flexible themes: a tropical party at home or in a rented hall, for the New Year, birthday or even wedding, any budget and format! But a lot depends on the presentation. For example, a multi-colored motley decor of a room is more suitable for a youth party without cuts, stylish in two or three shades for a meeting at the level of a social event.

When choosing a color scheme, play with contrast and stick to one level of saturation: modest pastel does not go well with bright rich shades, and vice versa.

Start preparing in advance, because... A tropical themed party is a lot of DIY. Even decor for a small room will take a lot of time, not to mention a private house/cafe. Of course, if your budget allows, you can buy accessories and jewelry. And for those who want to do most of it themselves, we offer tropic party design ideas:

  • If possible, remove excess furniture and everything that is not needed . The blue sky, the azure sea, the golden beach - this is space, a free flight of eyes to the horizon;

  • make a selection of photos or pictures that create the right mood - landscapes, people relaxing, natives dancing, etc. For a photo zone, a large poster with a gorgeous view of the sunny paradise will be useful;
  • replace textiles with more suitable ones - striped like beach towels, cheerful polka dots or flowers. Wicker chair covers, bamboo/straw rugs, and raffia will fit perfectly;

  • if the scenario of a tropical party takes guests to the beach, place containers with sand, corals and pebbles around the room, use shells, starfish, and skates in the decoration . You can hang fake fishing nets, anchors, lifebuoys, and steering wheels on the walls;

Flip-flops hung up with the “heel” are a flowerpot for a miniature pot with an exotic plant. Bright beach umbrellas will hide from view the everyday decor of the room that could not be removed;

  • heading to the jungle ? Let huge butterflies flutter around the house, monkeys jump, parrots fly. Perhaps a crocodile is hiding under the table, and... a giraffe falls out of the closet onto the guests! Soft toys, figurines, silhouettes against a sunset background, drawing or print on a thick base;
  • ethnic instruments (drums, maracas, tambourines, etc.), shaman masks, primitive tools - traces of aboriginal habitation will create a special, original ambiance at a party in a tropical style. Cardboard base + drawing or printout, it is better to glue with double-sided tape (cardboard is deformed from moisture);

  • pineapples, mangoes, bananas, coconuts, papaya will make the decoration literally delicious ! And it is not at all necessary that exotic fruits be real. Gifts of nature, like all the association attributes listed above, can be printed and assembled into garlands;
  • if you are organizing a tropical party for the New Year, decorate the Christmas tree and dress up the Snow Maiden and Frost in a tropical style . It’s easy to make Christmas tree decorations with your own hands: print themed pictures in a mirror image, cut them out, and glue them onto a loop. Place paper petals (a daisy without a center) on the bases of the garland bulbs to create sparkling buds;

For your birthday, decorate with a solid carpet of flowers with a voluminous number and a congratulatory inscription. Buds can be made from napkins, corrugated paper - it's easy.

  • balloons - arches entwined with vines, under the ceiling, tied in “bouquets” to the backs of chairs, in the shape of tropical fruits. If you tie petals to the base of the tail, you will get huge buds with a bright center, inflate only slightly and decorate with leaves - tropical fruits. It’s easy to make palm trees for a party out of balloons with your own hands: the leaves under the ceiling are pressed against three brown helium balloons (coconuts), from which brown ribbons (trunks) hang down to the floor;

  • exotic flowers - pompoms, circular fans, garlands of beads and curtains of flowers instead of curtains in the aisles. Huge palm leaves and vines will fit. It’s hard to overdo it with this decor: the more, the brighter and more fun! There are thousands of ways to assemble flowers/buds from corrugated paper, napkins and other scrap materials online.

Impreza: Poland

The Poles, like any other European nation, love to throw parties and call them impreza. In addition to a variety of alcoholic drinks, they usually have a lot of delicious snacks on their table. Do you think it's too simple? Let's get a look. Decorate the room in national Polish colors: white and red. Add national elements to your clothes: zhupan, Slutsk belt. On the table there are traditional dishes like zurek, flaki, bigos, kapytka or mazurka. Despite the unusual names, these dishes are prepared quite simply and from products familiar to us.

Party a la desert island, what's necessary?

It’s winter outside, you can hear the cold winter wind blowing outside the window, and if you look outside, it becomes completely sad - everything there is white, and summer is not coming soon! And just at this time you begin to appreciate the sun and warmth especially! Right now it’s worth thinking about whether to hold your upcoming party in the style of a “desert island”? Let the summer not be real, but the emotions from the bright colors and sunny surroundings will be genuine!

By the way, the theme is very relevant in the summer!

Choosing a Party Venue

The choice of location depends on the season. If the event is planned for the warm season, then the ideal place for it would be a beach near a river, lake, sea or a swimming pool. During the cold season, the party can be held in a rented bar, bathhouse or at home.

Although in winter the most ideal place would be a spa salon or bath complex. The main thing is that it can be rented for your vacationers and does not interfere with your summer mood!

Creating an atmosphere and appropriate mood

First of all, due to the specifics of the party, guests should be warned about the theme in advance, because it provides a certain dress code. An excellent solution can be written invitations describing the legend of how you ended up on a desert island as a result of a shipwreck (similar to Robinson Crusoe) or a plane crash (similar to the TV series LOST), and what you are going to do to return home. Invitations can be rolled up and tied with twine for decoration.

Creating an entourage

When holding a “desert island” style party on the beach, there is no need to bother too much with the decor, since the surrounding nature will give the event an appropriate ambience. If the holiday is planned indoors, you will have to work a little: artificial (or live in pots) palm trees, coconuts, paper garlands, empty bottles with notes inside, various shells, pebbles, empty boxes, tin cans and even aquarium fish will help you . If your company has a lot of LOST fans, you can brand everything with the Dharma logo from napkins and beer mugs to personalized T-shirts and caps that you can use to encourage guests to participate in competitions.

Island drinks and food

For themed parties, it is not so much WHAT to serve as drinks and treats, but HOW to serve them. For a desert island party, you can serve traditional welcome cocktails in coconuts, this will immediately immerse all guests in the right atmosphere. Also irreplaceable will be the blue Curacao liqueur, reminiscent of an azure tropical lagoon.

For treats, it is best to stick to tropical fruits and seafood. Fruit on skewers, shrimp on lettuce and grilled fish will look very organic.

Dress-code

If guests are notified in advance about the theme of the party, they will have the opportunity to prepare appropriate outfits. If you are organizing a beach party, the dress code provides for a minimum of clothing: for men, wide Panama hats can become a mandatory attribute; girls can decorate themselves with necklaces made of flowers, shells, and stones. If the event will be held indoors, you can order personalized T-shirts with logos for all participants and prepare paper (flower) necklaces.

Music and video accompaniment

In nature, it is difficult to come up with a better accompaniment than the accompaniment of a guitar. Indoors, you can use clips with views of tropical islands and films about adventures on uninhabited islands as a background.

If all this seems difficult to you, then easy summer beach treks will come in handy:

Entertainment

The nature of the entertainment depends on the objectives of the party. If this is a corporate party, then it will not be complete without team-building competitions and division into teams. You can conduct a quest, where for each completed task the team will receive a piece of the raft puzzle, on which they will ultimately be able to sail home, or a piece of the map where to find the necessary vehicle. You can also give out valuable prizes in the form of items necessary for outdoor recreation, such as canned food, sleeping bags, Panama hats and T-shirts with logos, lighters, and tools.

To be 100% prepared for your party and create a great atmosphere, use our selection of competitions, games, raffles and quizzes that are perfect for any party.

If you're hosting a personal birthday or wedding party, guests can write birthday wishes, roll them up, and place them in an empty bottle. These wishes can be read out publicly, or after the guests have left.

You can come up with a lot of competitions for such a party. With proper organization, with minimal costs, you can hold an event that you and your loved ones will remember for a long time. Improvise - and everything will work out for you.

“Should we talk?”: Norway

Norwegians have a wonderful sense of humor: they are sweet, friendly, but do not show unnecessary emotions in public. Their parties are quite modest; chips and a plate of nuts will be enough for the table. Alcohol is to the guests' taste. The main message of Norwegian parties: we gather not to eat, but to socialize. There is no dress code at a Norwegian party; guests come in whatever is comfortable. In a word, such a party is an excellent choice if you don’t have the time or desire to bother.

Suits

The dress code depends entirely on the format of the holiday, because... there are a lot of options! Suitable clothes for a tropical-style party at home, in a cafe, outdoors - comfortable shoes, summer trousers/shorts and T-shirts or colorful sundresses, flowy dresses.

To make your look complete, choose themed accessories for a tropic party. For example, earrings/beads in the shape of shells, fruits, buds. Straw hats, baseball caps, sun visors, sunglasses and diving glasses, beach and belt bags will fit in.

Do a bright tropical manicure and natural makeup, as if you were going diving/sunbathing. It is better to leave your hair loose, pinning a strand with a flower - complex hairstyles do not fit into the image of a vacationing tourist.

If you want the guests’ clothes to be in the same style, suits of tropical aborigines, Hawaiian clothes: raffia skirts + bright or “coconut” tops, and colorful Bermuda shorts for guys. Hand out flower beads, bracelets, and hairpins at the entrance. At a tropical party, costumes in nautical, Latin American, Cuban, and African styles are appropriate (read details in separate articles).

For guests with humor - costumes of animals, pineapple or banana, palm trees . The simplest option: a bottom of any bright color + a T-shirt with a themed design (you can order identical ones for friends, with a congratulatory inscription). Accessories will be useful for a fun photo shoot: huge tropical fruits, palm leaves, bright glasses, lifebuoys, surfboards (cut, glue to a base or draw).

Exotic rituals: China

Symbolism is one of the characteristic features of China. Here everything is given meaning: numbers, color, shape. When throwing a Chinese-style party, you should pay attention to the little things. The house should have paper lanterns floating, floating lanterns with mini-candles in the center, hieroglyphs-wishes written on red paper in black ink, bells and coins, and bamboo napkins on the table.

Traditional Chinese clothing is hard to find in your wardrobe, but every girl has a floral print dress and every guy has a white collared shirt. At a Chinese party, sweet and sour pork, Ma Po tofu, dumplings (jiaozi) and fried noodles are a must. For entertainment, invite your friends to experience the traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
