To do this, the oven is heated to 90 degrees, the washed fruits are cut into thin slices (circles), laid out in one layer on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and placed in the oven for 2-3 hours. Every hour, oranges (or lemons) need to be turned over so that the slices dry evenly.
When the fruits become hard (a crust forms), the oven is turned off, the paper is removed from the baking sheet, and the citrus fruits are left on the sheet and sent to the oven to “dry out” until they cool down.
The last step is to beautifully place all the ingredients in a jar, close the container with a lid and decorate your Christmas gift.
